SINCE 1974
Eschen Automotive was founded in September of 1974 by Gary Eschen after he and his wife, Sandy, moved to Washington from California. The first shop was located in Kirkland where Gary built his reputation as a people person with a brain for reasonable repairs. His honest assessment of issues and reasonable prices established a following of loyal customers. In the summer of 1999, the shop moved to Bellevue. Gary's son, Alex Eschen, signed on in 2002 and, after Gary's retirement, became the owner and head mechanic. Alex's good work and down-to-earth personality have earned the shop a new generation of loyal customers.
